Travelling down US 1 (Route 1) in southern Virginia, you will find this abandoned store just before you cross the state line into North Carolina. We've driven by it a few times and, each time, it gets a little more weathered, a little more decrepit. If you venture up to it and manage to get close, you'll see the "It's Kool Inside" window decal advertising that, once-upon-a-time, you could cool off in the store's air-conditioned interior, while you purchased your Kool mentholated cigarettes.
